Meet the authors

André Leal

André Leal is the Brazilian point of contact for the SelectUSA program. He has a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from New York University. Additionally, he participated in the Insper Executive MBA program in São Paulo. With a broad professional history involving working for foreign governments, André Leal is responsible for providing support within the country for Brazilian companies looking to invest in the United States, as well as with providing American States with support in contacting Brazilian companies.

Michel de Amorim

Michel de Amorim has more than 15 years of experience in the Brazilian and American marketplaces where he has worked for many clients in different sectors. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Hampshire and a Chartered Global Management Accountant. He joined Drummond Advisors after a public accounting career and specializes in international accounting and tax consulting. He has extensive expertise in all of the procedures related to financial processes, evaluation and analysis, auditing, data tracking and results, and communication of recommendations.

Pedro Drummond

Pedro Drummond is one of the founding partners of Drummond Advisors. He is a lawyer licensed to practice in Brazil and the United States (State of New York). He is a specialist in international transactions involving Brazilian and American clients, including international mergers, international securities offerings and the legal aspects of setting up companies in Brazil and the United States. Pedro has a master’s degree in finance and banking from Boston University, where he received the A. John Serino award for best overall performance in his class of 2007.
